How does Artefaks work?

The way the site works is very simple. If you are an artist, or part of an organization or a small local cultural enterprise, you simply register as an Artefaks merchant (registration is free). Once you're logged in to your account, you configure your online boutique and add all the items for sale. After the free trial period, the posting of the items becomes a paying service (one dollar per month per original item.)

When there is an interested buyer, Artefaks will send you an email with all the necessary details. Artefaks calculates automatically the transaction fees and applicable taxes and submits them to the buyer. Once the buyer has confirmed the order, his or her payment is processed through the secure Paypal payment service and goes into your own Paypal account

You may therefore accept credit card payments from anywhere in the world without being concerned about security, since no exchange of financial information takes place between the parties.

All the information related to your transactions is archived in your personal account for easy management.

Once the payment has been received in your Paypal account, you can proceed with the shipping of the item(s).
